Hello, I am Jennifer Babe Conley, the artist behind DesignsBy108. My artistic creation is working with lamps. Most of my life I created abstract paintings, enjoyed Interior Decorating and many other forms of Art. Working with lamps was new to me. As a young girl, I can remember my Grandmother having lamps that were very beautiful and unique and I would spend hours staring at them.
Jump forward several years; in the process of dealing with an unfortunate event, I spent a lot of time thinking, searching for answers and my mind would get flooded with images. Images of lamps, beautiful, sparkling, glittering lamps in the light. So I went out and found a lamp that spoke to me and I started creating. This was my beginning, my beginning to finding myself and how Art speaks through me.

In working with my lamps, there is a variety of materials that the bases are made from. Lamps that are made from wood, glass and different types of metal. Czech and Austrian crystals add beautiful sparkle to each creation.
