Hello, my name is Jennifer Babe Conley and my artistic creation is working with lamps. Most of my life I created abstract paintings, enjoyed Interior Decorating and many other forms of Art. Working with lamps was new to me. As a young girl, I can remember my Grandmother having lamps that were very beautiful and unique and I would spend hours staring at them.
Jump forward several years; in the process of dealing with an unfortunate event, I spent a lot of time thinking, searching for answers and my mind would get flooded with images. Images of lamps, beautiful, sparkling, glittering lamps in the light. So I went out and found a lamp that spoke to me and I started creating. This was my beginning, my beginning to finding myself and how Art speaks through me.

In working with my lamps, there is a variety of materials that the bases are made from. I have lamps that are made from wood, glass and different types of metal. The Sparkle that I add are exquisite LUX Austrian crystals, Maxima crystals by Preciosa, high clarity Rhinestones, faux fur and much more to give each lamp the beauty is craves.

I have always loved the vintage style from the 1920’ and 30’s. It was a time that was filled with glamour, elegance and class. Time was put into everything that was created. With my lamps, I look for those that call out to me and create them to reflect their true style. It may sound strange, but each lamp speaks to me as if it has its own identity. This is what I try to manifest in each design.
